Rocce



Rocce Vulcaniche is a slate series that is reminiscent of volcanic rock. 
It has variation in color and surface texture that is similar to natural 
stone, but with the easier maintenance of glazed porcelain.   
 

The three modular sizes and complimentary trims allow for a wide 
range of uses and patterns. In addition, there is a  2 x 2 Mosaic 
that is cut and tumbled from field tile that can also be used to 
create accent strips or dots.

2" x 2"	*The cutting process creates pieces that are not completely flat resulting in some uneven surfaces. Small chips are part of the tumbled stone product.

Shade variation may occur between field and trim due to shape of trim pieces and different productions. The Coordinating Trims are rustic and extruded. The edges are not perfectly square, and size variation is to be expected both in length and apron width.

USAGE
Rocce Vulcaniche is suitable for walls, counters and floors. See information below regarding exterior use. EXTERIOR USE In general, glazed tile are not recommended for exterior paving. Glazed tile do vary in their slip resistance, and this is an important factor to consider in choosing a tile for any area, interior or exterior. Who will use an area and under what conditions it will be used are very important in deciding which tile is appropriate for a particular installation. A private deck in a residence represents on situation. It should be easy and natural to restrict its use to people who live in the house. It should be common sense and there should be no logical reason to use it when it is wet from rain or other causes. This may make it appropriate for glazed tile for aesthetic or ease of maintenance reasons. Below is Coefficient of Friction for this product to help determine its use. Testing may vary with different production runs and with different testing labs. As noted in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) the coefficient of friction varies considerably due to facts not under the control of entities such as the manufacturers and distributors. These factors include, but are not limited to, contaminants, slope of terrain, drainage conditions, adjacent surfaces, etc. Suitability for any installation can only be determined by a site examination of all conditions that could affect the slip resistance of the tile being installed.
