We recommend installing the Electa field with mastic or flexible adhesive
due to the size of the piece, since it will be sensitive to movement. The
factory has used a cement based grout, but feels a flexible material like
caulking could be used if there is a concern.
The craquele finish in the glaze allows moisture to penetrate which
may result in pigment from colored grouts being picked up. For general
protection, tile should be sealed before grouting and resealed periodically.
