Mariner Vintage Deco | Italian Porcelain Tile
The Vintage Deco line brings a fresh perspective to the world of 8x8 decorative porcelain tiles. Rather than copying patterns from encaustic/cement tiles, the concept here is to reach into a different tradition - ceramic tiles. The line is a rich tapestry of designs selected from different times and cultures. From Morocco, to Eastern Europe and then to Italy, this series takes us on a journey that celebrates the history and artistry of ceramic tile. Each pattern is lovingly recreated and produced with shading, including deliberate fading, marks and imperfections, that make it look gently worn over time. The three field colors have rich shade variation that makes them interesting options on their own as well as a balancing complement to the decos.

Usage & Installation
Vintage Deco is suitable for walls and floors including residential and moderate commercial use. The minimum recommended grout joint is 3/32”. Please note that the material is non-rectified. If using more than one item together (i.e. field and decos), please check the caliber and be aware that you may have to adjust the size of the grout joint to make your pattern work.
Please note that, while each Deco consists of a single pattern, there are a few graphics in each pattern that have subtle differences in the shading and wear marks. Make sure to blend the tile well during installation, rotating the pieces and noticing the placement of the different images in order to get the most authentic final look.

As noted in the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) the coefficient of friction varies considerably due to facts not under the control of entities such as the manufacturers and distributors. These factors include, but are not limited to, contaminants, slope of terrain, drainage conditions, adjacent surfaces, etc. Suitability for any installation can only be determined by a site examination of all conditions that could affect the slip resistance of the tile being installed. Continual cleaning and maintenance must be performed once the tile has been installed.
