Marca Corona Textile | Italian Porcelain Tile
Textile is a collection that skillfully blends fabric textures with geometric shapes. Three sizes, a 3 x 12, 12 x 24 and a 8 ” hexagon, have the look of a handwoven fabric dyed with natural pigments which give the colors a beautiful depth and rich variation. The Hexagon and 12 x 24 have a soft fabric texture, with the variation on the 12 x 24 being a slightly subtler version. The 3 x 12 has multiple different structural surfaces that create a sculptural patchwork, almost a 3D element, making this a field tile that will add another dimension to any project. Textile is suitable for residential and commercial use. It is important to blend tile within each carton and from multiple cartons during installation, as well as changing the orientation of pieces with similar graphics to attain a proper mix. This is especially true for the 3 x 12.

The graphic movement on the 12 x 24 is more subtle than on the hexagon, so it coordinates with the other sizes but it is not a perfect match.
Usage & Installation
Textile is suitable for residential and commercial use. It is important to blend tile within each carton and from multiple cartons during installation, as well as changing the orientation of pieces with similar graphics to attain a proper mix. This is especially true for the 3 x 12. The Textile 3 x 12 has 8-11 different structures. Care should be taken during installation to ensure a blended mix. Because of the texture on the 3 x 12 size, it may be helpful to use a grout release, and should be noted that some grout may remain in the surface indentations.

As noted in the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) the coefficient of friction varies considerably due to facts not under the control of entities such as the manufacturers and distributors. These factors include, but are not limited to, contaminants, slope of terrain, drainage conditions, adjacent surfaces, etc. Suitability for any installation can only be determined by a site examination of all conditions that could affect the slip resistance of the tile being installed. Continual cleaning and maintenance must be performed once the tile has been installed. For more information see our current handout Americans with Disabilities Act and Slip Resistance of Tile.
