Sartoria Tsquare | Italian Ceramic Tile
The 6 x 6 wall tile offers a handcrafted look reminiscent of the “zellijes” tiles made by hand in Morocco. While all the colors have shade variation, some have more movement than others. All the colors are made on a bisque with an uneven surface structure and irregular edges that are slightly chiseled. These characteristics are intentional and add to the hand-made appearance.
The graphic on the coordinating 8 x 8 porcelain is a mix of cement and metal, including some images that show the shadow of the mesh that is left on the surface of cement made the traditional, Italian way. The edges are slightly chiseled to accentuate the vintage look.

Expect variation in color and size between field and trims. There is limited shade variation on the pencil bullnose; the shading is more uniform than the field tile.
Wall Installation Information
T-Square wall tile is intended for interior walls. If installing with a cement-based adhesive, it is recommended to use flexible setting material that meets the ISO S1 standard (e.g. Servolight by Kiesel). All substrates should be properly reinforced to be sure there is no movement. Wood studs need to be dry and properly braced with a minimum depth of 3 1/2”. For mortar installations, the mortar bed has to be cured (less than 2% humidity) and has to have proper reinforcing. It is important to pull from multiple boxes during installation, rotate pieces, and note the placement of the different images to get the proper final blend.
Porcelain Installation Information
T-Square Porcelain is suitable for walls and floors including residential and light commercial use. The minimum recommended grout joint is 3/32”. As with all inkjet products, there are many different graphics that are mixed and packed randomly. It is important to pull from multiple boxes during installation, rotate pieces, and note the placement of the different images to get the proper final blend.
For additional interest a small percentage of tiles have a light mesh graphic overlay. The graphic varies in appearance from tile to tile.
Porcelain Trim
The surface bullnose is made from field tile that is cut, ground and reglazed. Stock may be in a different shade and caliber than field.
